It was an action-packed day on 14th July 2023, as CMI-AlgoLabs hosted the second annual AI-ML Summit at Chennai Mathematical Institute.  Representatives from several industries and academia participated in the event, which was themed around Generative AI. The Summit provided a forum to the delegates for networking, understanding the emerging trends in AI/ML and also demonstrating the solutions from CMI-AlgoLabs.

The event featured keynote lectures from Ashok Kalidas of Kantar and Vijay Kumar Ivaturi of Crayondata.

It also had industry experts from Manufacturing (Ameya Divekar of Michelin) and Telecom (Srihari Vasudevan of Ericsson) sharing their experience with applying AI/ML.

Professor KV Subrahmanyan of CMI gave an introduction to quantum computing.

Finally there was an engaging panel discussion on “Generative AI – Myth or Panacea” (Panelists: Rajeev KP of UniMity, Ganesh Sankaralingam of LatentView, Rajeshwaran of CapGemini and Prof Madhavan Mukund of CMI, Moderator: Sukumar Rajagopal of TinyMagiq)

The audience also got an opportunity to see the solutions from AlgoLabs, and participated in the FunAI quiz.
